What Callum records on a Glasgow flat visit
A site measure lasts 60–90 minutes for a single room. We tape wall lengths at three heights, laser diagonals for square, and note pipe and socket positions that will block carcass backs.
Photos stay on our workshop tablet for cut-list reference; we do not upload them to third-party clouds. You receive a printed dimension sheet before any deposit is taken.
Measure service envelope and tools carried
The table describes the survey kit itself, not furniture sizes. Depth here means how far we need clear floor to set the laser tripod.

Closes, lifts, and parking near the flat
We time visits around factor rules for Merchant City lifts and avoid rush hour on Buchanan Street lanes when parking a van with sample doors. If your building bans weekday deliveries, we flag that on the measure sheet so hang days are planned honestly.
Stair turns narrower than 800 mm change how large a glued carcass can be; we measure those turns even when the room itself is generous.
Measure fees credited toward a build
Within the M8 ring a single-room measure is £180. Two rooms on the same visit are £260. Outside that ring, or for Southside trips with paid parking, we add £40–£70 travel.
If you proceed to a full commission within eight weeks, the measure fee is deducted from the final invoice. Cancelled visits with less than 24 hours’ notice are billed at half rate.
